Who am I?

I’m Daniela Fernández, a Certified Mental Performance Consultant dedicated to helping athletes strengthen their minds so they can perform with confidence, clarity, and resilience.

My path into this work began with a deep interest in how people learn, grow, and overcome challenges. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Child Learning & Development at the University of Texas at Dallas, where I developed a strong foundation in human behavior and motivation.

Driven to support others on a deeper level, I earned a Master’s in Social Work, specializing in addiction and mental health, from the University of Texas at Arlington . I later worked in an intensive outpatient therapy center, supporting individuals and families through significant emotional and mental health challenges. This experience taught me the importance of meeting people where they are, building trust, and guiding them with compassion and steadiness.

My passion for sport and human potential led me to pursue a second master’s degree, this time in Sport and Performance Psychology from Dominican University of California, where I graduated in May 2023.

For the past three years, I’ve been working as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant with athletes across a wide range of sports—including swimming, soccer, triathlon, table tennis, tennis, and volleyball—and from ages 9 through adulthood.

Across every session and every athlete, my mission remains the same:
to create a supportive, grounded, and empowering space where athletes and parents feel understood, equipped, and capable of meaningful growth.

I believe performance is not just about what happens on the field, court, or pool—it’s about developing the mindset and skills that help us thrive both in sport and in life. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative, rooted in science but centered on the human being in front of me.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside athletes and families as they build stronger minds and stronger performances.
